    Funding Freedom 2025 Report

    This report builds on Funding Freedom’s report from 2022, looking at the new conditions facing movements and philanthropy after a year of Genocide. It looks at the political context of genocide and repression, includes five case studies of organizations who have faced cuts or threatened cuts, and ends with recommendations to funders about navigating the current political moment.

  • Funding Freedom Report

    In November 2022, Solidaire Action Network published “Funding Freedom: Philanthropy and the Palestinian Freedom Movement.” The report is the first comprehensive look at the barriers to healthy and sustainable funding for organizations that support Palestinain rights, as well as proposed tools and strategies to address them. It offers funders a roadmap for creating the conditions to give sustainably, consistently, and without doing harm. The Funding Freedom project was born from this report.
